Home Health Therapists (PT/OT) – Now Hiring

Pennie’s R Us Home Health Care is seeking licensed and compassionate Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join our growing team. These roles involve providing in-home therapy services to patients with the goal of restoring function, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life.

As a valued member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will conduct assessments, implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with caregivers and physicians to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in the comfort of the patient’s home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments in the home setting
• Develop and implement customized care plans in alignment with physician orders
• Deliver therapeutic treatments to support recovery, function, and independence
• Monitor and document patient progress, reactions, and changes in condition
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, safety, and equipment use
• Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other professionals during case conferences
• Submit accurate, timely documentation per agency and regulatory standards
• Stay current with best practices through continuing education and participation in agency meetings

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a PT or OT in the state of Florida
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program
• NBCOT certification required for internationally educated OTs
• Strong understanding of orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation
• Familiarity with adaptive equipment, mobility aids, and home safety practices
• Previous home health or outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation to travel to patients’ homes

Work Environment:

• In-home care setting (travel to various homes required)
• Conditions may range from well-organized to more physically demanding environments
• Must be able to lift, stand, bend, and operate standard therapy equipment
